Our brothers in Beppu have made a contract for purchase of a building to be used as mosque. Beppu is around 100 Km away from Kitakyushu. The building is on Route 10, which connects Kitakyushu to Kagoshima. Being on main route, the mosque itself will Insha Allah be a source of Dawaa to the travellers on Route 10.
The mosque is of special importance to Kitakyushu as well. Insha Allah many scholars will visit once a regular full time mosque is established, and they will pass through Kitakyushu, and we will also benefit from them Insha Allah.
There are around 100 Muslims in Beppu, and most of them are undergraduate students. The university is a private university, and therfore most of the students are on self sponsered basis. It is hard for them to collect all money by themselves. They have already stretched to limits and have collected around 50% of the amount. Many of them are doing part time jobs to earn money for the mosque. They have requested help from brothers and sisters all over Japan, especially in neighboring cities of Kitakyushu and Fukuoka. Let's help our neighbors and use all our means to complete the project successfully for the sake of Allah SWT.
